A Warm Invitation to the 3rd IFAC Workshop on Cyber-Physical & Human Systems

The 3rd IFAC Workshop on Cyber-Physical & Human Systems will be held Thursday through Saturday, December 3-5, 2020 in Shanghai, China.

The CPHS is established on the basis of the foundational works of CPS, which have successfully enabled multidisciplinary research involving control systems, communications, networking, sensing, and computing to develop new theoretical foundations as well as addressed several major technological applications.

CPHS focuses more attention on the important interactions between CPS and humans. These interactions occur at various levels and they are constructing hybrid intelligence in almost all aspects of modern industries. The workshop aims to bring together an international community of researchers and practitioners in the field of human-machine collaboration to discuss new research results, perspectives on future developments, and innovative applications relevant to human-in-the-loop CPS, humans as elements in controlled systems, and related areas.

The 3rd IFAC Workshop on CPHS will feature contributed and invited sessions as well as posters and research papers. Several awards will also be offered for outstanding contributions.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Shanghai.

The CPHS 2020 organizers are closely monitoring COVID-19 developments. We are hopeful that the workshop can proceed as planned. However, we realize that many authors will be unable to travel in December 2020. We will therefore ensure that, wherever necessary, remote presentation facilities will be arranged for papers and sessions. Furthermore, all accepted papers by registered authors will be published in the online proceedings regardless of whether or how they are presented. Further updates will be posted here promptly.

The CPHS 2020 proceedings will be published by Elsevier and submitted to Ei Compendex for indexing. Upon extended modifications, selected CPHS 2020 papers will be recommended for submissions to the following journals:

  1. Automatica (SCI, IF 6.355)
  2. IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics (SCI, IF 10.387)
  3. IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica (SCI, IF 5.129)
  4. Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems (SCI, IF 5.881)
  5. IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems (ESCI)
